Founded in 2008, Your Inner Light was created as a sanctuary for healing and a refuge for the soul. As a family-owned business, we’re so much more than a metaphysical shop—we’re a community that welcomes all denominations and paths while honoring personal freedom and a shared truth that we’re all connected.
We opened our store nearly twenty years ago and have the largest crystal collection in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We also offer jewelry, incense, herbs, tarot & oracle decks, candles, tapestries, oils, teas, books and so much more! Your Inner Light is known for our purposefully-affordable prices, healing energy, fun TikToks, and friendly faces. Our customers become community, and our community is like family. Because of this, people come from all over to shop with us, and we’re fortunate to have patrons all around the globe.

Britta is the heart behind Your Inner Light. As founder and owner, she has spent nearly two decades creating more than a metaphysical shop—she has created a place where people feel welcomed, accepted, and at home.
Originally from Germany, Britta's journey to Pennsylvania was one of faith, resilience, and learning to trust her intuition. Every step of that journey helped shape the vision for Your Inner Light: a warm, community-centered space where people from all walks of life can explore their spirituality, discover meaningful tools for their journey, and simply feel seen.

Shawn is Your Inner Light’s crystal expert and Britta’s husband. He ensures all of our crystals, minerals, and stones are A-grade quality. What you’ll find unique about our shop is that every stone he purchases has been handpicked, cleansed, and blessed before appearing on our shelves. People that are well-attuned to the energy of crystals often tell us they can feel this extra step we take in cleansing and charging our products—a step that adds to the warm and loving atmosphere of our shop!
In addition to sourcing crystals, Shawn also offers healing and energy cleansing sessions that our customers describe as life-changing and transformative. Tara is Britta's daughter and has played an important role in the growth of Your Inner Light over the years. Her background in Business Administration brings ingenuity to the inner workings of the shop, helping to create an efficient and positive customer experience. A busy mom of four and the owner of a successful photography business, Tara has always enjoyed bringing fresh ideas and a creative perspective to the Your Inner Light family.

Susan Dawn is a spiritual coach, intuitive tarot reader, and energy practitioner who is passionate about helping others discover their own inner wisdom and navigate life's journey with greater clarity and confidence.
Around the shop, you'll often find Susan connecting with customers or working behind the scenes to bring new ideas to life. From designing our website and writing the Your Inner Light newsletter to organizing workshops, brainstorming creative projects, and collaborating on our social media, Susan enjoys finding new ways to support and share the heart of Your Inner Light.

Ella was originally hired to babysit the four grandchildren but has since grown into her role as our Social Media Specialist, becoming an invaluable part of the Your Inner Light family. If you've visited our shop, chances are you've met Ella!
Most days you'll find her behind the counter helping customers, answering questions, fulfilling online orders, helping to bring our social media to life, or putting together our popular Mystery Boxes.
A budding photographer with a creative eye, Ella also enjoys capturing the moments that make Your Inner Light such a special place. Be sure to stop by and say hi!
Dez is the shop pup. Dez was adopted from Brazil where Shawn and Britta felt an immediate connection with her and decided to bring her home with them. You’ll often see her poking her nose into the shop to see who’s here. She loves attention and a good belly rub!
